Yacht Agent FAQs
What does a yacht agent do?
A yacht agent handles all onshore formalities and logistics for your yacht. From customs clearance and port reservations to provisioning, concierge services, and guest itineraries, we ensure your voyage in Italy is seamless.
Why do I need a yacht agent in Italy?
Italy has complex port regulations, high-demand marinas, and detailed tax rules. A yacht agent ensures compliance, secures berths, provides access to trusted suppliers, and saves crew valuable time.
Do you only work with superyachts?
No. While we support some of the world’s largest charter yachts, we also assist private family yachts, sailing yachts, and smaller vessels needing local expertise and support.
What destinations can you cover?
We provide services along the Amalfi Coast, Capri, Naples, Sardinia, Sicily, and across Italy. Whether you’re island-hopping or planning an extended cruise, we manage logistics in every major yachting destination.
Can you help with charter permits and paperwork?
Yes. We assist with VAT, Italian charter licensing, and port formalities to ensure charters are fully legal and hassle-free.
Do you arrange provisioning and supplies?
Absolutely. We source high-quality provisions, fine wines, and technical parts, delivering directly to your vessel on time.
Do you provide services for guests?
Yes. Our concierge team arranges luxury transport, restaurant bookings, spa appointments, private tours, and bespoke onshore experiences tailored to your itinerary.
How do you support the crew?
We provide crew logistics, including medical assistance, visa support, transfers, and coordination with local contractors for maintenance and repairs.
Is a yacht agent expensive?
Our services are cost-effective compared to the risk of fines, delays, or failed reservations. We also secure competitive supplier pricing and save hours of crew time.
